How can I improve my mental health?
When I was attending to the high school in the IB program my classmates and I was feeling a lot of stress because we have a lot of work to do. Our mental health was not good. It affected our experience in the IB program and the quality of our work. So, in this moment was when I understeand the importance of my mental health. For this reason I am going to give to you tips to improve and take care of your mental health such as the exercise, to do pauses, to be thankfull and to look for help.
- Do exercise:
The exercise is very important to improve the mental health. It helps to control the stress anda anxiety. For example, I love to play soccer, so, I was trainig with a futsal team with my classmate. It helped us to reduce the stress. Also, it gave us entretaiment time where we avoid to think a lot abot the high school. I can say, practicing sport or doing another type of exercise you can improve your mental help, specially if you feel a lot of stress. And, you can consider that doing exercise you improve both, mental and phisical health, so, you will have a better quality of live.
- Stop:
- Be thankfull:
For me, another importan point is to be thankfull. Some times I feel stressed because I do some thing, but, the results was not like I want. So, we always see the negative things, the black point in the white paper. But, you have a lot of gifts in your live. For example, you can walk, you can see, you can talk, and these are something that you most to thank. Also, I like to walk in the street or in the nature, and I see a lof of beautifull thing such as a tree, a animal or a sunset.
- Look for help:
However, some times we need help to solve our problems, because we are not able to solve it by ourselves. So, I recomment to speak about your promblems with other people like your friends or your family. Usually, we treat to solve the problems without help, and it can cause stress because we can not find a solution, but always there are people that can help us. Also, you can look for profesional help.
In conclusion, I can say the mental heathl is very important to have a good quality of life. I recomment to do phisical activities, to stop, to see the positive aspects of your life and to talk with other people about your problems. If you do not take care of your mental health now in the future it will very late. the most important thing in your life most be yourself.
